Due to the proliferation of wireless technology in the past 24 months, emerging software solutions to healthcare problems assume the option of ‘mobility’ for many medical professionals such as doctors and nurses. Inherently these professionals are mobile and hence the assumption that mobile solutions would provide significant performance improvements is valid. However, due to the limited knowle...

Bone mineral content of the forearm was measured by photon absorptiometry in 17 preterm infants at a postconceptional age of 40 weeks. Radiographs of the forearm were assessed by Koo's method and plasma alkaline phosphatase activity was also measured at this time. Bone mineral content was significantly but weakly correlated with Koo score and was not significantly correlated with alkaline phosp...
متن کاملAdvances in Artificial Intelligence: Are you sure, we are on the right track?
Abstract: Over the past decade, AI has made a remarkable progress. It is agreed that this is due to the recently revived Deep Learning technology. Deep Learning enables to process large amounts of data using simplified neuron networks that simulate the way in which the brain works. However, there is a different point of view, which posits that the brain is processing information, not data. This...
